John Corsale and Greg Blair join the Board of Advisors as the company builds the category for stable patients recovering at home on continuous therapy
RALEIGH, NC, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Journey Actuating Technologies, Inc. (dba RxActuator™), the veterinary medical device company pioneering “Hospital-at-Home” continuous-rate infusion (CRI) for companion animals, today announced the appointment of John Corsale, Jr., DVM, MBA and Greg Blair to its Board of Advisors. The two bring more than four decades of combined corporate veterinary operations and animal health commercial leadership to RxActuator™ as the company scales manufacturing, sales, and clinical adoption of the RxActuator Mini-Infuser®.
“John and Greg have each spent their careers at the center of how veterinary medicine actually gets delivered — inside multi-site hospital systems and inside the animal health companies that supply them,” said Jeff Journey, CEO of Journey Actuating Technologies. “As we move from relaunch into scale, their perspective on corporate group adoption, channel strategy, and partnering is exactly what this board needs.”
“I’m excited to be part of Journey Actuating Technologies, Inc. (dba RxActuator™), because I can see what it means for improving patient outcomes and easing client concerns about leaving a pet overnight in the hospital,” said John Corsale, Jr., DVM, MBA. “It also gives veterinarians greater confidence that the medicine sent home with patients is being delivered to therapeutic effect. And by letting veterinary technicians focus on only the most critical patients who truly need overnight care, it eases the burden on hospital staff and helps address stress and shortages industry-wide. It’s truly exciting.”
“I’m excited to join the RxActuator™ Board of Advisors and help the team expand access to this technology for veterinary clinics and pet owners across the industry,” said Greg Blair. “When I first saw the RxActuator device, it was clear it would allow pets to receive the critical medication they need in the comfort of home. Beyond reducing the cost of care by avoiding hospital stays, it will ultimately increase access to treatment for owners who otherwise couldn’t afford a night of hospitalization.”
New Board Advisors
John Corsale, Jr., DVM, MBA
Board Advisor | Founder, JCor Veterinary Consulting, LLC; Founder & CEO, Vertex AI Systems, Inc. (dba PetsOpia.AI); Senior Business Advisor, Select Veterinary Health
Dr. Corsale brings more than 25 years of corporate veterinary operations leadership to RxActuator™. He served as Group Vice President at VCA, where he led more than 130 hospitals across the Southeast for 15 years, before joining Compassion-First Pet Hospitals, where he rose to Chief Operating Officer and oversaw the network’s growth from 11 to 43 hospitals and revenue growth from $60 million to $300 million ahead of its sale into NVA/Ethos. He subsequently served as Associate Dean for Clinical Services and Hospital Director at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and later held the equivalent role at Rocky Vista University’s newly established College of Veterinary Medicine. (NYSE American: ZOM), where he led external innovation strategy and acquisition and licensing activity, and six years of increasing business development responsibility at Elanco Animal Health. Mr. Blair holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Supporting RxActuator™’s Next Phase of Growth
As Board Advisors, Dr. Corsale and Mr. Blair will support RxActuator™’s commercial and partnership strategy as the company deepens penetration into corporate and multi-site veterinary groups, specialty and emergency hospital networks, and academic teaching hospitals — the same institutional channels each has spent his career building and serving. Their appointment follows the launch of RxActuator™’s inaugural Clinical Advisory Board in June 2026 and reflects the company’s continued build-out of clinical, technical, and commercial governance ahead of its planned Series A financing.
The RxActuator Mini-Infuser® is the veterinary industry’s first outpatient continuous-rate infusion (CRI) system. Driven by a patented, water-activated polymer actuator, it delivers a constant-rate infusion over 48 hours with no batteries, software, or programming required. The platform is supported by peer-reviewed publications, including a 2025 pancreatitis study (Erger et al., Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine) demonstrating an 89.5% outpatient success rate. Previously validated across 90+ clinics in 26 U.S. states and 3 countries, the platform has active orders since its March 2026 commercial relaunch.
