Private VIP showcase at Volara’s Turn 11 car condo at Circuit of The Americas offers a first look at the engine, supercharger and key components of the Graham Rahal Performance-built GT LM, launching in early 2027 with allocation by invitation only
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Lynx Motor Works, the Austin-based builder of hand-built, ultra-low-volume supercars and a portfolio company of Volara Holdings, will unveil the “heart of the beast” — the engine, supercharger and core drivetrain components of its forthcoming GT LM — during the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas (COTA), October 23–25.
Lynx will host an invitation-only VIP gathering throughout the race weekend at the Volara car condo at Turn 11, giving prospective owners, investors and partners an up-close look at the hardware that will power the GT LM. The car is being built in partnership with Indy car driver Graham Rahal and Graham Rahal Performance (GRP) in Zionsville, Indiana.
At the center of the display is a 5.2-liter Ford Performance supercharged V8, paired with a Magnuson supercharger and finished with a bespoke GRP titanium exhaust system. Guests will also see several additional components from the build, offering a rare inside view of a program that pairs race-proven engineering with coachbuilt craftsmanship.
From day one, we set out to build a GT LM that drives the way a true endurance car should feel — raw, responsive and built to last,” said Christian Okonsky, Founder and CEO of Lynx Motor Works. “Every component on display this weekend reflects hundreds of hours of development by our team, and we’re proud to share it with the people who will one day put it on the road. And COTA during Formula 1 weekend is the perfect stage to show our future owners what’s beating at the heart of the GT LM. This is the first time anyone outside our team and Graham’s shop has seen it.”
The GT LM is the first program in the relaunch of Lynx Motor Works and is limited to a run of just 27 cars with now only 24 remaining. Allocation for the remaining commissions is by invitation only and will officially open in January 2027, with the GT LM launching in early 2027.
The GT LM program brings together a roster of premier partners, including Ford Performance, Magnuson, Brembo, KW Suspensions, Michelin, HRE, DJ Designs and others.
Qualified collectors and enthusiasts interested in the GT LM allocation may request an invitation directly from Lynx CEO, Christian Okonsky at christian@lynxmotoworks.com.
