Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) – the preeminent total beverage distributor – today announced its 19th consecutive year serving as the exclusive provider of wine and spirits for the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Invesco QQQ (NYCWFF). As New York City’s premier culinary celebration, the Festival brings together acclaimed chefs, unique restaurants, content creators, celebrities, wine and spirits producers, mixologists and fan-favorite television personalities across more than 50 events. Net proceeds from the Festival will benefit Event Zero Foundation (the event’s host and beneficiary), which advocates sustainable event practices, and the James Beard Foundation®, focused on building a vibrant, equitable and environmentally resilient restaurant industry that remains as a cornerstone of American culture, community and the economy.
“Each year, the New York City Wine & Food Festival brings together the very best of the food, wine, and hospitality communities, and we are excited to once again welcome guests for an extraordinary celebration,” said Lee Brian Schrager, Chief Communications Officer & Senior Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility for Southern Glazer’s, and Founder and Executive Director of NYCWFF and its sister Festival, SOBEWFF®. “With the support of 65 supplier partners and more than 200 featured sponsors and brands, the Festival offers guests the opportunity to discover new flavors, connect with industry leaders, and experience the creativity that drives our industry forward. What makes this event truly special is its ability to make a lasting impact, supporting important causes while honoring the people and communities that are at the heart of hospitality.”
Since the Festival’s inception in 2007, NYCWFF has raised more than $15 million for its charitable partners. Alongside its sister Festival, the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®), the two Festivals have generated over $60 million for organizations and initiatives that strengthen the communities they serve.
The NYCWFF will return to The Seaport neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, with Pier 17 Rooftop once again serving as the home for many of the Festival’s signature events and experiences.
