Cingari Family Markets to Host September Job Fair for New Danbury ShopRite

Family-Owned Grocer Seeking to Hire Approximately 200 Associates Ahead of Danbury Store Opening

Cingari Family Markets, the family-owned and operated Connecticut-based supermarket company that operates 10 ShopRite stores, will host a two-day job fair on Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26 as it prepares to open its newest ShopRite location in Danbury. The company is seeking approximately 200 full-time and part-time associates to join the new store across a wide range of departments. The store will be the Cingari family’s 11th ShopRite location in the state.

The job fair will take place at 72 Newtown Road in Danbury from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days, giving prospective employees the opportunity to meet with hiring managers, learn more about the company, and interview on-site. Positions are available throughout the store, including cashiers, grocery clerks, produce, bakery, deli, seafood, meat, prepared foods, overnight stocking, maintenance, and customer service. Both experienced supermarket professionals and first-time job seekers are encouraged to attend the hiring fair.
